Mo Tanweer

Mo works with a range of corporates, in the public and private sector to promote deeper understanding of economic issues. He works both one-on-one and in group settings as well gives more general audience lectures on a wide array of economic topics from global megatrends to AI to China.

These discussions aim to infuse an intellectual curiosity in the public (or staff, colleagues, students) as well as a stronger knowledge base to discuss these complex but super relevant topics.

You can watch a vodcast here that Mo did with Inigo Insurance, MBA In A Day, where you can learn more about his background and views on the global economy!

Formats range from 90 minute lectures on global M&A trends, to whole day workshops, to even book clubs! Clients have ranged from global insurer, Inigo Insurance, Howden Insurance, to Future Vision to specific C-suite level individuals.

If you want a speaker for a team off-site, or a keynote lecture for a conference, contact Mo to see if there are current economic trends and topics that he can give a talk to your colleagues on. Email at M.T@cantab.net.

He has also been contracted as an external consultant to implement Critical Friend reviews of schools Economics department and Oxbridge provision. Some feedback on this is here:

Mo has encouraged and challenged pupils to follow their academic passions and to aim high. He works with groups of pupils in various groups (aged 14 – 18), runs stimulating critical thinking courses and meets with pupils one to one in intensely academic-focused sessions where he enables students to develop greater academic resilience. Furthermore, he works with teachers across all departments to help them to design increasingly challenging supercurricular programmes of study. He has been fundamental in establishing a more candid culture which enables us to provide constructive criticism to our most able students which helps them to grow and to seek further challenging areas of study. Lastly, he also speaks at parent events to outline how parents and the school can work together to enable pupils to realise their academic potential and dreams — Martin Walker, Headmaster of Berkhamsted Sixth

He also works with schools as a consultant, helping building academic curiosity and help staff and students embed rigorous intellectually curious frameworks, from running Critical Thinking Accelerators to Oxbridge-style supervisions and competitions
