Albert Einstein once said “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious”.
Mo believes that it is important to go beyond archaic exam syllabuses and content. The real learning and excitement takes place in the mind and beyond, not in textbooks. Intellectual and academic curiosity is the sine qua non of creating brilliant young minds.
Mo focusses on building these skills in schools, amongst both teachers and pupils. He has worked at Berkhamsted School for 5 years as their Academic Enrichment coach and University Advisor. The aim has been to put this philosophy ‘in the water’, and has designed Critical Thinking Accelerators (both 1-day intensive ones and longer 6 weeks ones) for schools such as Dubai College, The Leys School, Stephen Perse School.
The aim of this work to challenge young minds to think differently and constantly be curious about the world they live in. ExponentialMinds.academy was launched off the back of this work.As one parent said, “Mo’s technical preparation is excellent but what is truly amazing was the intellectual and interpersonal confidence that he instilled in our son. He helped to develop a passion and aptitude for critical thinking, logic, problem solving and people skills which helped improve our son’s ambitions and trajectory
He also runs Oxbridge preparation programmes, University Preparation Courses, Introduction to Economics workshops, and has also done a range of INSET lectures to staff on topics such as AI in education. To learn more about the work he does in this area, click here.
