Mo studied Economics at Cambridge University, graduating in 2004. He is heavily involved in delivering a range of economics-related courses at universities, specifically University of Cambridge, the Cambridge Judge Business School and Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Mo is a Teaching Associate on the MBA and Executive MBA at the Judge Business School. He currently helps deliver the Macroeconomics and International Business modules for Cambridge University Judge Business School, with Prof Kamiar Mohaddes and Dr Michael Kitson. He also lectures on Executive Education courses, most recently the Corporate Responses to Global Megatrends, where he focussed on the economic impact of AI. The next one runs March 2024. The International Business trips are week-long programmes that take place abroad, most recently in Lisbon, Madrid, Berlin, São Paulo. The 2024 ones will take place in Ho Chi Minh and Seoul.
He also co-designed and delivered the Microeconomics module on the First Certificate in Business at the Judge Business School.
In Summer 2024, he will be delivering an Economic Environment of Business macroeconomics course for the MBA at Rotterdam School of Management, in the Netherlands.
He has also covered sabbatical supervisions for Part IIA Development Economics paper, and in 2023 began supervising POL18 – The Politics of the International Economy paper (final year paper for HSPS) for Pembroke College, specifically focussing on the Fall and Spring Semester Programme.
He also supervises on the Pembroke Summer Cambridge Programme as well as supervisor on the Online Summer Research Programme, for aspiring PhD academics. In Summer 2024, he will also be teaching a new course on AI – Friend or Foe, which will cover the ethics, economics, politics and practical impacts of all things AI-related! He has also guest lectured at various evening dinners at colleges, most recently on the theme of China’s economy.
He also helps marking on a range of papers on the M.Phil Management and the Management Studies Tripos.
